Lifeguard (Level 3B) - Contract

The Lifeguard is responsible for assisting the swimming pool supervisor in managing the swimming pool facility. The Lifeguard will also assist with maintaining the pool, including locker rooms, pool surface and other facility related duties. He/she is required to assist in teaching beginners swimming lessons and to maintain a high standard of customer care and safety to all users of the pool.

Academic Requiremnts:

• The successful candidate should possess:
• Three (3) CXC/GCE subjects including English Language
• Lifeguard license
• Royal Life Saving Certificate (RLSS)

Additional Requirements:

Applicant should have:

• At least one (1) year experience working in a similar environment
• In-depth knowledge of the safety standards and information related to aquatic and water rescue
• The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
