JOB PURPOSE 

Executing preventive maintenance to agreed service levels and schedule. Performing and improving to an optimum level between maintenance cost and technical down time. Assisting on corrective maintenance to reduce technical down time. Assist operators to improve their technical knowledge, Assist operators during change over to minimize change over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT:

• Compliance with legal and procedures in the area of health, safety and the environment
• Ensures all execution of technical work is carried out in a safe way. Ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed by himself and by others working in and around the machine(s) in assigned work area
• Reports Near Misses, Unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviours observed within and outside work area
• Participation in periodic hazards identification and detailed risk assessment in work area as applicable
• Participation in safety events (incidents, accidents etc.) investigation in work area

PLANNED AND CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE:

• Execute inspection, preventive maintenance and work orders and this register in the maintenance control system.
• Give feedback on all preventive maintenance plans
• Execute work orders with the right level of quality and make sure no breakdown time occurs due to maintenance
• Report on safety and technical losses and unconformities in reporting systems and DCS
• Carry out breakdown analysis and follow up on countermeasures
• Execute all electrical corrective maintenance
• When necessary, execute tasks deemed important for the business as requested by the immediate supervisor
• Perform zonal tour and put tags for all abnormalities you find and make sure they are solved OTIF
• Participates in RCFA for breakdowns and minor stops using TPM tools

FIRST LINE MAINTENANCE:

• Give technical support and training to operators
• Assist with the execution of autonomous maintenance (cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening) within work area
• Participates in CILT standards development as maintenance expert
• Routine inspections of electrical components of different machinery
• Solve complex problems passed on by the operators responsible for work area
• Re-establishment of machine basic conditions after minor stoppages

MACHINE IMPROVEMENT: 

• Tags all anomalies, defects and losses on the machine. Follows up with resolution of reported anomalies on machine(s) in work area
• Operating the machine(s) in assigned work area including start up, shut down and changeovers
• Ensure that machine(s) runs in accordance with Heineken approved standard procedures
• Participate in technical improvement teams and propose technical improvements
• Maintaining basic conditions and resolve all types of losses(safety, energy, material, etc)
• Participate in TPM improvement teams and APM floor team activities
• Participation in planned maintenance day activities on the machine together with PM technician
• Participates in BD analysis of machine(s) in work area to avoid re-occurrence, reduce minor stops, optimize maintenance cost, increase MTBF/MTBA and follows up on agreed countermeasures

WORKPLACE ORGANIZATION:

• Organize the workplace, documentation and toolboxes according to the 5S standards
• Cleanliness and orderliness of workarea
• Ensures that the workplace is organized according to extant 5S standards
• Participates in 5S team activities in work area

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
• Computer: Basic skills (Windows, Word and Excel)
• 2-3 years experience in similar role
