Fort Gordon is located in Augusta, Georgia, home of the prestigious Masters Golf Tournament, along with beautiful river walk on the banks of the Savannah River. Also located within a two hour drive is the historic city of Savannah.

Location Fort Gordon MWR Sports: MWR SPPRTS PROGRAM MISSION To provide ample opportunity for participation in sports program to offer numerous sports programs for Soldiers, Family members retirees civilian employers and contactors with the government of the Fort Gordon Community.

This is a Nonappropriated Fund Flexible (Flex) position that does not include NAF Benefits nor guaranteed hours. Incumbents may be scheduled to work 0-40 hours per administrative week. Incumbent will be required to work weekends and holidays. May be required to work before and after work. This position works in a large, multi-roomed special events facility on multiple levels; facility is a customer driven program and exceptional customer service is the norm. Many special events are catered throughout the facility that requires setting up and breaking down of event areas. Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement. Although there is a salary range on this announcement, most applicants will start at the minimum salary

Duties

Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers.
Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes appropriate documentation. Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts.
Checks inventories and supplies.
In a recreation facility, assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes and equipment. Participates in and directs games and social events.
Decorates party rooms and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas.
In arts and crafts programs, demonstrates simple techniques.
Provides facility and program information to patrons.
Assists with simple repair and maintenance.

Conditions of Employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
