Duties
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
As a STAFF ASSISTANT, you will:
As a STAFF ASSISTANT, you will:
- Prepare and/or review correspondence written for the managers including letters, reports, charts, briefing materials, and talking points.
- Coordinate administrative projects to include the development, analysis, and modification of internal administrative policies, procedures, and management processes of the office.
- Maintain the manager's schedule and coordinates logistical arrangements for interviews, events, and meetings for the management staff.
- Monitor administrative functions and transactions and prepare a variety of reports utilizing various databases and automated systems.
- Assist with procurement activities and the maintenance of office supply and equipment inventories.
- Screen calls and visitors and resolve routine administrative matters to avoid unnecessary interruptions to the management staff.
