The Board of Management invites applications for the post of: 

BURSAR (AS5)

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful applicant will be required to implement and maintain government of Jamaica financial and procurement policies and guidelines; supervise the administrative and ancillary staff; assume responsibility for the financial information to support decision making by the Ministry of Education, and the School's Board of Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

a. Specific Knowledge required:

• Thorough knowledge of FAA Act and GOJ procurement policy guidelines
• Strong graps of accounting and word processing software applications

b. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.Sc. in Accounting and Management with two (2) years work experience or 
• ACCA level 2; two (2) years of experience, or
• ACCA level 1; three (3) years of experience

c. COMPETENCIES AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES:

• Good problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong supervisory skills
• A valid driver's license and a reliable motor vehicle
