ASSISTANT AGRICULTURAL METEOROLOGIST IN WEST BENGAL AGRICULTURAL SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL – NO. OF VACANCY: TWO (ONE RESERVED FOR OBC CATEGORY ‘B’ CANDIDATES)

QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: (i) Second class Master’s Degree in Meteorology or Agricultural Physics or Agronomy or Geo- Physics / Applied Geo- Physics in Meteorology group or Geography with Climatology / Meteorology as a paper from a recognized University/ Institution (ii) 3 (three) years’ experience in Agricultural Meteorology relaxable in suitable cases.

AGE: Not more than 36 years on 01.01.2018, relaxable for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.

PAY: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs. 42,000/- (PB – 4A) plus Grade pay of Rs. 5, 400
