A marketing company Kingston seeks qualified persons to apply for the following position:

Cashier/Payables Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handling and maintaining cash transactions
• Maintaining daily accounts of transactions
• Balancing the daily account at the end of each day
• Checking daily cash balances
• Validate invoice approval
• Process incoming invoices for payment
• Prepare accounts payable reports as needed
• Review and code vouchers, invoices and expense reports
• Miantain current accounts payable listing
• Cheque distribution
• Preparation of Journal Entries

Education and Training:

• At least five (5) CSEC/CXC subjects including Math, Accounts and English Language

Work experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Two (2) years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience required
• Understanding accounting principles
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting is necessary
• Attention to detail and accuracy
