Duties

Responsibilities include providing general assistance to the team by providing general labour services to support grounds, roads, and facilities maintenance (janitorial) or any other labour requirements for the Parks Canada Agency.

Prince Albert National Park is anticipatorily looking for students to assist our Asset Management Team for the 2018 summer season. These positions provide hands-on learning opportunities that support Parks Canada’s maintenance programs. As a member of our team, you will support our goal to enhance the visitor experience and engage Canadians and other visitors in the learning, enjoyment, connection to, and appreciation of Canada’s natural and cultural heritage.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Degree equivalency
• Experience in working safely outdoors and in or around heavy equipment
• Experience in basic labour procedures is considered an asset
• Experience interacting with customers/clients is considered an asset
