Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY PROCESS:
A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to fill identical positions with various linguistic profiles (bilingual, french essential). Tenure may vary according to the position being staffed (indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

1. The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Degree equivalency
EXPERIENCE
Recent* and significant** experience in extracting pertinent information from documents, files or policy in a work environment;
Recent* and significant** experience in entering data in automated systems.

*Recent: Experience acquired within the last two (2) years approximately.

**Significant: significant experience is defined by the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired through the performance of a variety of tasks for a period of approximately six (6) months.

Post-secondary diploma related to the duties of the position, such as paralegal studies, administration or office technology or other related studies.
Degree equivalency
Experience working in a penal, criminal, correctional or legal field.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work at a computer for the most of the day;

Willingness and ability to work overtime as required by the position;

This position requires daily exposure to disturbing and offensive information consequently the appointed person must be capable of performing the duties in an objective manner when exposed to such information.
