Duties
Provides clerical and administrative/operational support services and related information/guidance, typically in support of a specific function or a program area in a field unit, service centre, or National Office.Intent of the process
The result of this process is intended to fill one temporary vacancy in the Lake Louise, Yoho & Kootenay Field Unit (LLYK). A fully or a partially qualified list will be created and may be used to staff similar positions in the LLYK Field Unit at a similar group and level including various tenures such as: indeterminate, temporary, acting, assignment at level, part-time or full-time.Positions to be filled: 1

• In the use of various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Email applications;
• Planning, organizing and prioritizing work, meeting deadlines within an environment of changing demands and conflicting priorities;
• Preparing, editing and formatting correspondence, reports and spreadsheets;
• In dealing with the public (such as: reception and orientation services, providing written correspondence, dealing with contractors and community groups);
• In cash handling and reconciliation.
