Sales and Event Booking Clerk - Kingston, Jamaica - Carnegie Conference Centre

The Carnegie Conference Centre located in New Kingston is seeking to employee a dynamic, highly motivated, ambitious individual to join the team as a Sales and Event Booking Clerk.

The position pays $600,000 per annum with 50% of it being paid as commission and fifty percent (50%) as a basic.

Primary responsibility

• Achieve the monthly sales and collections targets for events booked and held at the centre

Skills

• Pleasing telephone voice
• Strong selling skills
• Strong collections skills
• Highly motivated by commission
• Requires little supervision
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite

Working hours: 

1. Regular office hours is Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
2. However, due to the nature and scope of the position some flexi-work time scheduling may become necessary at times (Monday to Sunday).
