Guest Services Team Leader (Supervisor)

The Guest Services Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage repeat guests program
  • Assist with the enthusiastic greeting and meeting of our guests on arrival at the resort, especially at the predicted times of heavy activity with arrivals, departures and other guests needs
  • Co-ordinate all the special services given to guests on specific packages; for example, rose petals in suite on arrival
  • Warmly encourage, applaud, develop and where appropriate implement new ideas on increasing the efficiency and quality of service
  • Answer all guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management and service staff
The ideal candidate must:
  • Have a diploma or certification from a recognized institution in Public Relations, Business Administration or related field
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years experience in Mid-Management/Leadership or similar position
  • Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate well with persons at all levels
  • Have the ability to deal with and resolve guests related issues
  • Have positive work ethic and attitude 
  • Be talented, creative and attention to detail and special requests
  • Have good time management skills
  • Be willing to work flexible hours and days of the week
