Duties
Parks Canada is seeking a dynamic individual to work as the Financial Officer for the Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay Field Unit. The Field Unit encompasses the northwest portion of Banff National Park, as well as Yoho and Kootenay national parks, and the townsites of Lake Louise, AB and Field BC.You will engage with a range of clients and stakeholders to help inform business decisions and reporting needs of the Field Unit. You will analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and build reports on monthly results, budgets, investment and ad-hoc reporting. You will be responsible for pulling, consolidating and analyzing complex data from a variety of sources, applying costing procedures and accounting principles. You will confidently present data in a clear manner, and explain the implications for decision making.
