Warehouse Supervisor

A leading H.V./A.C. company wishes to contract the services of a Warehouse Supervisor to work out of its Head Office in Kingston, Jamaica. We are one of Jamaica's largest air-conditioning providers - selling,servicing and supporting some of the most sophisticated  air-conditioning systems ever designed and completed the country.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the selected candidate will work in conjunction with other inventory personnel to strategically plan, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the Warehouse to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and appropriate inventory levels. 

 Skills

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Warehousing and inventory operations and practices.
• Ability to operate under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Good planning, analytical and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, result-driven, confident and forward-thinking individual.
• Strong work ethic, excellent leadership abilities combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and take proper action in difficult situations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Certification in Inventory Management, Accounting or Logistics from a recoginised institution.
• At least three (3) years' experience in warehousing or in a similar capacity.
• Knowledgeable about H.V.A.C. (air conditioning ) inventories.
