Summary
The selectee for this position will serve as a Program Support Assistant (OA) for NCIS.

Responsibilities
The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
Receive and review all incoming correspondence and prepares replies to general inquiries to meet command needs.
Create, maintain and, archive files in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures and in accordance with Privacy Act Requirements.
Create or maintain a database to track information (e.g., vehicle information, accident reports, contract information, cellular phones, pagers, blackberries).
Generate reports to obtain or provide information related to organizational, administrative, or procedural matters.
Review and edit travel data utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS) for managers, supervisors, and their staff.
Travel Required
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period.

Travel may be required.
Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (secret) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. GS-07: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support to include teamwork, personal initiative, customer service, personnel support, data processing, records management, and travel management.
GS-06: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preparing administrative reports using automated software, assisting in processing travel arrangements/claims, teamwork, personal initiative, customer service, providing personnel administration, data processing and file maintenance.

Education
