This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The mission of OCFO is to lead the Department’s Headquarters and Field Office officials toward the understanding and practice of sound financial management in program development and operations, and in the stewardship of public resources.

This includes providing affordable housing opportunities for low-income Americans and housing assistance to the homeless, elderly, people with disabilities, and people living with AIDS. Duties
As an Office Administrator, you will:
- Prioritize and carry out special assignments, coordinate with other organizations as required and keep SES informed of status of actions.
- As personal assistant, coordinate communications with top officials of HUD, other federal agencies and the private sector. Receive telephone and personal callers, for the SES level supervisor. Based on comprehensive knowledge of functional responsibilities throughout the organization, determine disposition of inquiries and make appropriate arrangements for callers to personally meet with the SES and other officials in the organization.
