About the Position:
This is an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), GS-0303-05 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, Operations Division, Millwood Tri Lakes Project Office, located in De Queen, AR.
NOTE: Position exclusively represented by IBEW Local 2219.

Duties
As an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties which support the administrative functions of the office. Typical duties of the position may include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving visitors/phone calls and personally providing information requested or directing them to staff members for those that require attention or action.
- Maintaining project and contract files as necessary.
- Maintaining plant equipment records and maintenance history on property items.
- Typing a variety of correspondence, reports, etc. using automated equipment and a variety of software programs.
- Sorting and distributing mail for necessary action.
- Analyzing cost items (labor/training/travel/equipment/pay estimates for contractors/supplies/Visa purchases, etc.) to determine proper sequence required for that action.
- Ensuring labor charges are appropriately assessed to projects currently being worked on.
- Reviewing cost codes for each project for sufficient funds.
- Performing timekeeping duties using an automated reporting system.
- Preparing travel orders/vouchers for all supported employees.
