Duties
As a Human Resources Assistant (OA) you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Explains processes and procedures to be followed in proposing and submitting a wide variety of Request for Personnel Actions and other requests for service by the human Resources Directorate
- Processes applications for local recruitment substitute teachers and GS-07 or lower graded positions recruited locally
- Counsels employees on Federal life and heath insurance programs, retirement, Thrift Savings plan, and advance pay
- Uses office automation software to produce a wide range of office documents
