Summary

Duties

Assists the aquatics manager in the supervision of the aquatic programs.
Assists manager in planning and establishing aquatic certification curriculum.
Maintains adequate staffing.
Performs preventive maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1 .Demonstrated experience in planning and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor aquatic programs and facilities.
2. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level.
3. Current certification in Life guarding or Life guarding instructor
4. First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.

The following certificates must be obtained within 12 months of appointment:
Water Safety Instructor - Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification

Best Qualified Criteria: Certified in Life guarding Instructor ***Those applicants that meet the best qualified criteria will be sent to the hiring manager first***

Conditions of Employment:
1. If selected, a completed and signed copy of our job application form (DA Form 3433) is required prior to entrance on duty. (Click here to view form).
2. Subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) is required.
