Duties
- Serve as a Mail Clerk for the Directorate of Human Resources, Administrative Services Division.
- Receive, sort, meter and prepare all installation official mail.
- Verify all outgoing mail is official in nature.
- Review all official mail entering the United States Postal System (USPS) to assure packaging and presorting is in compliance with the requirements of the USPS Domestic mail manual.
- Sort, prepare and label official pouch mail for shipping to forty-five separate installations.
- Assist in the preparation of daily and monthly postal use reports.
Travel Required
- Occasional Travel
- Up to 5 % to attend meetings and trainings.
