Applications are invited to fill up one post of Marketing Assistant (GCS - Group 'B' ­ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Pay Level 6 of Pay Matrix 35400-112400 in the National Institute of Fisheries Post Harvest Technology and Training, Visakhapatnam which is a subordinate office under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries. The post is to be filled up by Deputation(lncluding Short Term Contract) fromOfficers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or recognized Research Institutions or Semi-government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations: ­

(a)

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay level 5 of Pay Matrix 29200-92300 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and 

(b) 

Possessing the educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits i.e

Essential:

(i) Bachelor degree in Zoology or Fishery Science or Home Science or Industrial Fisheries from a recognized University or Institute

(ii) Two years' experience in marketing of fish handling or marine fisheries from a recognized fish processing and marketing concern or a Central or State Government. organization or undertaking.

Desirable: Diploma in Marketing Management from a recognized Institution
