Loans Officer/Supervisor (Kingston & Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Microfinance company

Job Purpose:

To conduct and supervise the efficient and effective processing of loan applications in accordance with organisational procedure and policies. To optimize and ensure the timely delivery of good quality customer service to the clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process customer loans timely and accurately to ensure high quality customer service
• Ensure loans granted are effectievly monitored and instalments collected in a timely manner
• Execution and follow-up on all assigned departmental reports
• Marketing financial services products

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

• First degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Two (2) years proven experience in loans administration preferable within the Micro-finance or banking industry
• Good knowledge of loan processing would be an asset 
• Proficiency in the use of relevant computer applications
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
• Good problem solving skills and tenacity
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexible hours. Training will be conducted in Kingston.
