for a talented and dedicated individual to fill the position of:

Property/Project Manager

The Sucessful Candidate will Be Responsible For:

• Maintenance and up keep of all company owned and leased buildings in keeping with company standards and guidelines.
• Risk and safety Management to ensure conformance with company standards  and legal requirements.
• Project Management (new capital projects, repairs and refurbishments of existing buildings), coordinating all project activities relevant to the new store development, store refurbishment and property improvement across the business to ensure efficiency and the delivery of projects in line with project plan.
• Liaising with local engineers and regional expects to develop building plans inclusive of architecture and infrastructure, sanitary and electrical systems, hydraulics and other requirements to ensure these are aligned with the Company's store design standards, project plans, building codes and planning permissions.
• Liaising with country level operations/store teams to determine maintenance needs, develop a maintenance program and supervise assigned staff and/or subconstractors to ensure execution in line with schedule, efficiency and risk management objectives and requirements.
• Monitoring store design standards to ensure preservation of store identity across the business in line with regional/company standards.
• Providing guidance and support in energy conservation and usage reduction across the business.
• Providing leadership and oversight for the security function ensuring that appropriate systems and processes are in place to secure the personnel and assets of the company.

Qualifications and Key Competencies Include:

• Tertiary level education in Construction Management, Facilities Management or Civil Engineering.
• Working Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanial engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years' commercial experience in the construction industry with at least three (3) years as a Senior Project Manager.
• Familiarity with building codes and planning permissions, enterpreting architectural drawings with key focus on furniture and space planning concepts.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Suite including Project and Auto CAD)
• Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
