Busy specialist medical practice in Kingston 6, equipped with state of the art practice management systems, tools and procedures, is seeking a full-time Administrative Officer to provide support to management in back office operations, general team support and reception relief.

Duties:
  • Monitor payables and receivables, post invoices and receipts
  • Maintain paper and electronic file management systems
  • Monitor compliance with IT/dadta policies
  • Maintain inventory, logs, update company documents
  • Create documents, templates and forms
  • Update office website and social media platforms
  • Monitor email and administrative communications; action as directed
  • Manage calendar, appointments and tasks
  • Support practitioners using electronic medical records and files
  • Reception relief as needed
Technical/Functional competencies required:
  • Diploma/degree in Office or Business Administration or CPS/CAP certification
  • Knowledge of Peachtree or other acounting software
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong computing skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Must display strong work ethic, accuracy and attention to detail, analytical and problem-soving skills, organization and time management skills, confidentiality, ability to work on own initiative, good interpersonal and listening skills, ability to work in a team setting and to adhere to office policies and procedures.
