What You Will Gain

Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking individuals interested in the Culinary Arts and Food Services to take up the challenge of working for one of Canada's most dynamic organizations.

Working at DND will provide you with:
• On-the-job training in an industrial kitchen setting
• Hands-on work experience on a team in a fast paced environment
• Opportunities to develop skills for your future career through on-site and on-line training

What You Will Do

Successful students will assist in a variety of work assignments including:
• food preparation
• maintaining the general cleanliness of the food-service facility

Duration: Full-time summer 2018 with the possibility of part-time in the fall and winter

Location: The job opportunity is located on the Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, BC – approximately 5 km from Victoria, BC.
