Operations Support Administrator Clerk R11 Salary $42,443.12 - $47,990.48 An eligibility list may be established. A new multi-faceted administrative role in a dynamic project environment Serving as the front facing role in a busy Operations Support office this position is responsible for providing administrative and project management support to the Operational and Performance Management Office. This position provides a variety of office administration, secretarial and financial support services which includes responding to or directing external information requests (including those made in accordance with Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPP) legislation); and accounts support; technology support; preparing and proofing ministry correspondence; and developing and maintaining tracking systems. This position provides direct project support to the Director on corporate projects, current operational systems upgrades and other related duties. The Operations Support Administrator is expected to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality of information and using discretion when addressing sensitive issues. The environment is fast-paced and changing and requires good judgment and strong problem-solving skills to effectively prioritize and deal with numerous issues that arise on a daily basis. In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below: • Secondary school graduation or equivalent AND one (1) year of related experience. • Experience in various computer applications (for example: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and other databases). Related Experience must include: • Experience providing project management support services. • Experience providing administrative and financial support services in an office setting. Preference may be given to applicants with the following: • A post-secondary certificate in office administration • 2 years of experience providing administrative and financial support services in an office setting. Applicants selected to move forward in the hiring process may be assessed on the Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies as outlined in the attached Job Profile.
