Filing Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Correctional Services Co-operative Credit Union

We are seeking a Filing Clerk to join our operations team. This post would be suitable for someone experienced in Records keeping, preferably someone who had previously worked in a financial organization. The individual should be friendly, hardworking, professional, reliable and thrives in a fast paced environment.

As Filing Clerk, you will be required to:

• Sort and organize documents according to the organization's specific requirements
• Code, file and retrieve records as needed and ensure system is well orgaized and maintained. 
• Manage the movement of files into/out of the Filing Department

Skills, Competencies and Attributes:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent listening and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions 
• Conversant with personal computers and office machines
• Ability to work alone and works well under pressure 
• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Customer service oriented

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma Office Administration or equivalent
• Two (2) years related training
• Customer service training
• Competencies in Microsoft Office Suite
