St. Andrew Technical High School seeks Teachers (Kingston, Jamaica)

Applications are invited to fill the following positions as of January 1, 2018.

Academic Staff:
Qualified teachers to teach the following subjects at the CSEC level:

• Building Construction - clear vacancy
• Mechanical Engineering - clear vacancy
• Caribbean Studies (CAPE) - grades 7 - 10 (4 months) - Applicant should also be able to teach Principles of Business and Office Administration at the CSEC level - 8 months

Non-Teaching vacancies:

IT Computer Technician - clear vacancy

• Minimum qualification of five (5) CSEC passes including Information Technology, English and Mathematics
• Must possess a certificate in IT computer repairs and networking
• Must possess good communication skills both orally and written
• Excellent knowledge in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Must be able to work on own initiative
• Be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure 
• Must have at least three (3) years working experience in a similar capacity

Laboratory Technician (Assigned to the Mechnaical Engineering Department) - clear vacancy

•  Minimum qualification of three (3) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English Language
• Applicant should also possess NCTVET qualification in Capentry
