A major distribution company invites applications for the positions of:

Sales Representatives - Contract

The motivated sales team members are needed to cover the following areas:

Kingston and St. Andrew

St. Catherine

Clarendon

Manchester

Hanover/Westmoreland

St. Ann/Trelawny

The incumbent is primarily responsible for seeking and generating new business and providing merchant support.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: 

• Developing and executing effective sales strategy to meet company targets including plans for discrete customer bases
• Communicating  monthly targets including projected delivery schedules
• Seeking and generating new business from all relevant industries
• Achieving established sales targets in accordance with the overall objective of the company
• Providing quality customer insights and market feedback to guide strategic decision making
• Manage customer receivables in accordance with company policy

Experience:

• Proven track record in sales; minimum two (2) years
• Experience in fast moving consumer goods is an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Unquestionable integrity and honesty
• Must be target driven, a proven team player with customer focus
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and written
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel and email applications

Other Requirements

• A motor vehicle will be an asset
