A fast expanding group of companies operating across diverse industries invites applicants for the position of:  Maintenance Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Maintenance Department, ensuring that buildings, electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems are operating effectively and efficiently within the group.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensures that equipment downtime is always maintained at an acceptable industry minimum standard and provide responses on demand.
• Make recommendations where economically beneficial for the replacement or upgrading of equipment.
• Assess quotations, supervises and approve work carried out by independent sub-contractors.
• Develops implements and monitors preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment.
• Deploys staff to achieve optimum levels of efficiency.
• Prepares and conducts training sessions for staff on the maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Proficiency in inventory management 
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the maintenance of electrical and refrigeration equipment at the managerial level
• Training in supervisory and project management
