Invites applications from suitably qualified persons to 

fill the following positions:

Accounting Officer/Assistant Bursar

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Bursar, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of the Accounting staff, and conducting various accounting functions in a prudent manner and in keeping with the fiscal provisions of the Government of Jamaica.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Competence in the use of Accpac or similar Accounting application.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Competence in budget preparation and preparation of financial statements would be an asset.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc in Accounting/ACCA Level 2 or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years experience in a similar job would be an asset.

Occupational Health Officer 

Role and Core Functions:
The Occupational Health Officer will be responsible for the review, development, implementation and monitoring of the College's Health and Safety management systems, to ensure the safely to staff, students, visitors and contractors, in line with relevant Health and Safety and associated legislation.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competency with the Microsoft suite.
• Meticulous at checking detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to defined deadlines.
• Ability to organize workloads and to prioritise effectively.
• Must be a self-starter who is willing to work as part of a team.

 Required Qualifications and Experience:

• HND or BSc Degree in Operations Management or equivalent.
• Membership in JASP or the local OSHA.
• Experience of delivering training seminars.
