Mother's is seeking to identify a suitably qualified individual for appointment to the position of:

Carpenter

The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all buildings, furniture and fixtures that are owned and operated by the company. 

Applicants must:

• Be capable of solving mathematical related problems
• Calculate quantity of material needed for a job and take precise measurements
• Make scale drawings
• Select material, plan sequence and method of work
• Be able to cut and shape material and join them together
• Read and understand installation manuals
• Interpret labels such as Workplace Hazardous Materials and follow safety guidelines

Qualifications and Experience;

• Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery/Wookwork from HEART/NTA or any other recognized institution
• Apprenticeship of one (1) year in a similar position
• Ability to produce detailed finish work
