Job description:

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

JOB PURPOSE:

Pick customer orders to facilitate on time, accurate delivery, in the area or room assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick goods according to assigned pick tickets, ensuring that goods are ready for dispatch when needed. Fill out worksheet daily.
• Pick goods in accordance with rotation system, that is, first in, first out basis or soonest expiry date first.
• Pack goods on pallet ensuring goods are properly secured.
• Store goods in respective area.
• Assist in daily cycle count as advised by Supervisor.
• Assist with the physical preparation of the warehouse for main stock count twice per year as instructed by Supervisor.
• Help with the cleaning of the facility.
• Assist in any other area as necessary in support of Company activities.
• Maintain and improve the Company’s quality system.
• All of the above must be done in a manner upholding the company’s CSMS policies and practices.
• All of the above must be done in a manner upholding the company’s QHSE policies and practices and to ensure the work environment is healthy and safe.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Requirements

• Physical ability to lift heavy items
• Must be able to work flexible and long hours as required by the operations demands
• Team player

Qualifications &a Experience

• 2 O’Levels (Mathematics and English)
• Or 1 year’s experience in a similar environment
