Restaurant Manager Needed

Restaurants of Jamaica Ltd., operators of the K.F.C. and Pizza Hut Brands, is seeking to recruit suitable persons as Restaurant Managers. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of a successful restaurant and is expected to develop and empower team members to perform at their optimum while delivering professional customer service in a harmonious environment. The preferred candidates should satisfy the requirement below:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and optimum performance of staff and system.
• Maintain a customer focused restaurant, ensuring that the quality service and delivery are in keeping with the company high standards.Ensure that the restaurant upholds the required quality assurance and food safety and standards of the company.
• Effectively communicate and maintain the company's culture and required standards through coaching and motivational exercises towards building a cohesive team environment.
• Ensure that the restaurant adheres to the respective occupational health and safety standards.
• Demonstrate effective people management skill to ensure resolution of problems in a timely manner, while exercising tact and confidentiality. Ensure profitability and optimum operation of the restaurant through proper planning, cost management/cost control and sales and marketing initiatives.
• Preparation and submission of reports to meet deadlines or as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work on weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualification and Experience

• Either a tertiary Level accreditation in Business Management, Food and Beverage Management or Hospitality Management with a minimum of Two (2) years' management experience.
•  Or a Secondary Level accreditation with four (4) to five (5) years' experience managing a business, preferably restaurant or retail operations.
• Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• A valid Food Handlier's permit is required.
