ASPR’s Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange (TRACIE), in collaboration with the ASPR Division of Recovery, is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET. Join this Health and Social Services Recovery Lessons Learned from the 2016 Louisiana Flooding Webinar to learn more about how to navigate different federal recovery programs, what challenges should be anticipated during recovery efforts, and what tips are available from other communities to help determine vulnerabilities and areas of focus for maximizing the recovery timeline. Louisiana health and human services representatives will discuss their lessons learned and how their experiences may help their counterparts and other leaders supporting disaster recovery in communities recovering from recent disasters. Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services has created toolkits to assist providers affected by the emergency preparedness new rule. This toolkits gives facilities that fall under the new rule an overview of the requirements for their provider type, as well as some sample templates in a workbook that can be used in their planning efforts.
