Human Resource Officer
EduCom is a member-centric and service oriented organization. The successful candidate will be required to exercise direct accountability and responsibility for the achievement of the duties assigned, in order that the Credit Union achieves its Mission, Vision and Major Targets.

Core Functions:
Under the direction of the Human Resource and Administration Manager the successful candidate will be required to:
- Contribute to the Human Resource and Administration Department Strategic Planning process.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Provide guidance and interpretation on the policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update job descriptions.
- Create and implement an effective on boarding program.
- Develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate training and development programs.
- Create and implement an effective Reward and Recognition Programme.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Programme.
- Provide administrative support.
The successful candidate should have:
- An undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management or Development, Business Administration with Human Resource Major or equivalent qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years continuous experience in a similar capacity in a medium or large organization.
- Experience in a financial institution will be an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resource Management Systems.
- Knowledge of labour laws and relevant legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of human resource planning and administration.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, including written verbal and presentation.
- Proficient interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, facilitation, negotiation and team building.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- A reliable motor vehicle and the ability to travel island wide.
