Summary

About the Position: Walter Reed Bethesda, Warrior Transition Brigade, Bethesda, MD mission is to facilitate the inpatient to outpatient transition by receiving, in-processing, training, and assessing new Soldiers during their inpatient and intermediate outpatient phases of transition.
Verify applicable directives are followed and completed correctly
Retrieve data from various guidance to prepare briefings
Provide guidance to subordinate units on personnel management
Utilize personnel automation systems and databases, such as EMILPO, to extract and update data; monitors updating of personnel automation systems to ensure locally generated transactions are complete and accurate
Provide technical expertise for matters concerning programs such as; the Army Military Human Resource Record (AMHRR) file maintenance and the management personnel matters
Prepare memorandums, letters, spreadsheets and related documents and files and distributes documents and reports
Perform a variety of personnel actions to include incoming reassignment and departure processing for military, government and contract personnel.
Conduct Finance and Personnel Record Reviews utilizing the interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (IPERMS)Scan and uploads authorized documents into the online Official Military Personnel File

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination.
Direct Deposit of Pay is Required.
This is a Career Program (CP10) position.
Must be able to maintain a Secret security clearance
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Experience required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as work to coordinate the initiation of personnel actions with the human resources specialist; Monitor personnel actions for a health facility; Update personnel and office records which include assignments, awards, contingency operations, and strength management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.
