Description:
The Premier Logistics, Cargo and Cruise Agent - LANNAMAN AND MORRIS SHIPPING LIMITED seeks to fill vacancy of BOARDING REPRESENTATIVE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
General vessel husbandry including:
• Liaising with shipping lines.
• Liaising with government authorities - Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, Port Authority and Terminals, for ships' arrival and departure.
• Attending to the welfare of the Master and crew of the ship.
• Providing timely updates on ship activities while in port
Skills/Knowledge/Competencies
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of the shipping industry.
• Maintain quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
• Sound knowledge of computer applications.
• Ability to adapt to flexible and long work hours.
• Must own and operate a reliable motor car.
Qualifications:
• First degree in Shipping , Logistics or related discipline.
• At least two years' experience in similar position.
