Summary
This position is an Administrative Assistant, GS-0341-7 with a full performance level of Administrative Officer, GS-0341-09 and is part of OPM's Merit System Accountability and Compliance office. If selected, you will be responsible for providing support, trans-divisional oversight and coordination to all program offices throughout headquarters and field establishments. Responsibilities
As a Administrative Assistant at the GS-0341-7, some of your typical work assignments may include under supervision:
Providing advice and assistance to management in a wide variety of Human Resources areas including recruitment, classification, compensation, and employee relations.
Using procurement guidelines and basic price evaluation techniques to purchase items through appropriate channels and prepares purchase requests for goods and services.
Orchestrating and monitoring all office moves and renovations.
Tracking inventory of communication devices, as well as travel cards and office furniture.
Administering and providing oversight and guidance on time and labor reporting to timekeepers and managers.
Travel Required
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

May be required to successfully complete a probationary period

Qualifications
For the GS 7: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level (or equivalent) performing a variety of administrative support activities in areas such as personnel management, financial management, procurement, property control, administrative management, travel and/or office support functions; and utilizing a variety of computer software, hardware and peripheral equipment (i.e., personal computers, printers, optical scanners, etc.).

1 full year of graduate level education.

Superior Academic Achievement.

a combination of specialized experience and education that qualifies me for the GS-07 level or equivalent.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
ARE YOU USING YOUR EDUCATION TO QUALIFY? You MUST provide transcripts or other documentation to support your educational claims. PASS/FAIL COURSES: If more than 10 percent of your undergraduate course work (credit hours) was taken on a pass/fail basis, your claim of superior academic achievement must be based upon class standing or membership in an honor society.
GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
