Rick's Cafe': named one of the ten best bars in the entire world, is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant/Office Manager for its Negril operation.

The Role:

• Reporting to the President and COO, manage the Accounting and office management operations
• Prepare annual budgets, strengthens internal controls, ensures the timeliness, integrity and quality of decision support information
• Manage and support budget,, purchasing and forecasting activities, assisting the restaurant and gift shop Managers as needed
• Analyze and advise on revenue and expenditure trends as well as cash flow management
• Evaluate operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and recommend remedial action
• Ensure the smooth and effective running of office, maintaining current insurance and regulatory licenses and managing corporate agreements with hotels

The Preferred Candidate:

• ACCA II or BSc. Accounting with at least four (4) years in a similar position in a hospitality environment, demonstrating a good grasp of business and F & B issues.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in GAAP
• Previous experience in audit and a background in QuickBooks would be assets
• Excellent organizational skills and problem solving ability
• Astute, with consistent record of offering professional, friendly and engaging service
• Proactive and reliable with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven time and people management skills
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
