DESCRIPTION

Administrative Assistant

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Performs a full range of administrative duties including, but not limited to screening incoming telephone calls, and walk-in appointment requests, greeting and assisting visitors, maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments for meetings and conferences, tracking division action items, providing new employee on-boarding support, preparing briefing materials, ensuring proper time and attendance data entry, providing records management, and tracking incoming and outgoing correspondence.

• Reviews and edits correspondence, reports, and other material in final format for signature ensuring proper format, grammatical accuracy, plain language, and conformity to internal administrative policies and procedures.
• Experience in managing import and export (ASYCUDA) documentation would be beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three years of secretarial or clerical work experience;
• At least an Associates Degree in Business Administration
• Possession of a Certified Professional Secretary Certificate is a plus
• Must be computer literate, with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
