Sub-editor
The Observer Group of Companies is seeking a full time / part-time multimedia Sub Editor to cover a number of topics from a local and regional perspective. The chosen Sub Editor must have experience in multimedia (Broadcast of Radio, Web, TV and Print) and a deep understanding of Antigua and Barbuda and its political landscape. They should have a solid portfolio and a passion for covering numerous topics that educate the public on the latest, breaking news and community interest topics.
The ideal candidate is a versatile, self-motivated, go getting Sub Editor who can identify and proof read, sub-edit and rewrite important stories. The Sub Editor must be able to analyze, review and provide feedback to the journalists on a daily basis.

SUB-EDITOR
- Flexible to work shifts
- Team Player
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the role is a must
- Institutional knowledge on political landscape is required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Publishing or English is an asset, – Added value: a Legal Degree
- Experience and understanding of Local and Regional Journalism and the use of content management software is a plus

EDITOR

Candidates must have experience in multimedia (Radio, Web, TV and Print). They should possess a solid portfolio and a passion for covering numerous topics that educate the public on the latest, breaking news and community interest topics.
