JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Facilities Attendant is responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the office facilities.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for daily walk through of the center to check for any major issues.
• Clean break rooms and cafeteria daily – including putting chairs out and cleaning of microwaves. 
• Check and clean all restrooms daily.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the building exterior on a daily basis
• Check all ceilings daily for stained tiles.
• Check in with manager throughout the day for any open issues related to facilities.
• Communicate any unresolved service issues to the Facilities Manager in a timely manner.
• Sweep and mop hallways daily.
• Vacuum floors daily.
• Dust and clean production floors daily.
• Dust all A/C vents and returns weekly.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of maintenance and cleaning.
• Ability to use semi-heavy equipment when cleaning. I.e. buffers, vacuum, carpet extractors, etc.
• Ability to do physical activities (i.e., walking, standing, climbing and lifting semi-heavy equipment)
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with others.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• This position reports to the Facilities Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have ID, TRN and NIS
• Must be able to read and write.
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Must have a clean Police record.
• Must pass a drug test
