JISCO Alpart Jamaica (ALPART) invites applications for the position of:

Engineer, Instrument/Electrical

The Engineer will provide engineering support for all I/E maintenance and project functions included, but not limited to:

• Instrumentation and electrical projects
• Preventive Maintenance review and audits
• Equipment performance audits
• Support for major overhaul and breakdowns
• Develop new processes, develop new methods to improve reliability of equipment
• Support for the safe and continued operation of electrical power from the powerhouse breakers to the final use throughout the plant
• All protective relays, transformers and test equipment

Ideal candidates should possess:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of maintenance principles and practice
• Knowledge of computer based Maintenance Management Systems
• Minimum three (3) years experience experience in heavy continuous operations manufacturing
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A team player
