PSI Malawi is part of a global health network providing life-saving information, products and services to tackle the most pressing health problems, so that people can lead healthier, happier, more productive lives. PSI makes it easier for women and couples to plan the families they desire, have safe pregnancies and deliveries, and protect themselves and their families from malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, malnutrition, HIV and AIDS, and chronic diseases.

PSI Malawi is working across 11 districts (Blantyre, Machinga, Thyolo, Ntchisi, Lilongwe, Kasungu, Mzimba North, Mzimba South, Mwanza, Rumphi, Neno and Nsanje) in Malawi providing comprehensive family planning services through dedicated outreach teams. PSI Malawi invites applications from qualified individuals for the following positions on locum:

Reproductive Health Clinical Officer

Job Summary

The Clinical Officer will be responsible for providing long acting and permanent methods of contraception.

Reproductive Health Mobile Outreach Nurse

Job Summary

Responsible for providing family planning services at outreach clinics.

Mobile Outreach Nurse Aide

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting outreach teams with implementing infection prevention protocols.

Personal Specifications

• Pleasant and open attitude to serving clients, including youth.
• Willingness to travel 75% to rural areas
• Be self-starter, effective team leader and demonstrated verifiable result oriented track record.

Other Key relationships

• Adhoc meetings with donors and social groups.
