Stores Clerk-Issuing (2 Posistions)

 

The successful applicant will report to the Stores Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Receives printed reservations and checks with the system for issuing of items
• Posts the reservation slips into the system to generate internal invoice in the inventory control system
• Uses item checklist by counting items on shelves to verify actual stock levels with what is in the system
• Submits a completed filled checklist to the Stores Supervisor for action on urgent replenishment of fast moving items
• Records fuel meter readings and the tank dipping before issuing every morning
• Fuels vehicles from company pumps
• Produces mileage/fuel usage and tank dipping reports weekly and monthly for every vehicle and summarises total fuel usage
• Counts stock items and records in the stock sheet quarterly.

Stores Clerk-Receiving

 

The successful applicant will report to the Stores Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Checks the actual quantities and qualities delivered against what is on the delivery note and the purchase order
• Raises queries on goods delivered if not conforming to quality and quantity prescribed in the purchase order
• Enters new stock received into the system
• Sorts different items received into similar groups ready for binning
• Uses the item codes on the paper and put them on the right shelf and in the correct bin in accordance with the stores bin structure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education
• Diploma in Purchasing.

The Person

• Must be a self-starter and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
