This is a full-time position with the Marshal's Office at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.

Duties

Two-year term appointment: Responsibilities are varied and include Courtroom duties, escorting Court guests, assisting at Court-wide special events, and driving Court vehicles to transport Court officials and documents. Aide may also provide clerical support to other vital offices of the Court.

Qualifications

Highly motivated individual with at least two years of college education required. Valid driver's license and good driving record is required to drive Court vehicles. Prior work experience desirable. College degree or prior office/clerical experience also desirable. Basic computer skills a plus. Ability to deal courteously with the public a must.
Employment is subject to successful completion of a security background check.
If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, you must certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System, or are exempt from having to do so under the Selective Service Law. See www.sss.gov.
