About the Position:
This position is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Army Geospatial Center in Alexandria, VA.
This position will be filled on a permanent basis.
This position will be filled at either the GS-05 or the GS-06 level.
The full performance level of this position is the GS-07.
Management may selection at any of the grade levels announced. This recruitment provides promotion opportunity to the target grade of the position without further competition when selectee is eligible and recommended by management.
Incremental rating cut-offs will be utilized starting 09 May 2017 for first cut off. After initial cut-off, applications will be reviewed and referred for selection as vacancies occur within the organization.
Applicants whose application packages are received by the cut-off date will be considered first. Applicants whose application packages are received after the cut-off date and prior to the closing date will only be considered if the supply of candidates is exhausted and/or there are additional vacancies to fill.

Duties
These positions are being filled at either the GS-05 or GS-06 target GS-07 level. Duties described reflect the full performance GS-07 level. Duties will be performed in a developmental capacity under close supervision.
In this position, you will perform duties that include the following:
- Use various automated systems including word processing, automated financial information management systems, Power point, spreadsheet and communications software.
- Maintain property records. Track inventory of supplies.
- Use sound Fiscal Law practices in performance of all duties.
- Possess knowledge of current travel regulations, both CONUS and OCONUS, to provide guidance to personnel. Assist managers with travel arrangements.
- Perform a wide variety of automated record keeping, updating manuals on policy and directives.
- Assist in the preparation of the agenda items, presentations, and reports.
- Knowledge of automated information systems for time and attendance and payroll, travel orders/vouchers, purchasing-GPC, monitoring labor account balances, personnel (i.e., CPOL), training requests, claims for reimbursement.
- Must use sound judgment in prioritizing daily work assignments.
