A reputable automobile service provider in Kingston, Jamaica invites suitable candidates to submit applications for the following positions:

DISPATCHERS  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate automatic call distribution (ACD) telephone set and PC Windows-based applications, to accurately receive records and respond to Members' requests
• Properly answer and accurately process incoming telephone calls regarding Emergency Road Service and other related areas.
• Listen and probe for additional information as necessary. Make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service (e.g. safety concern, extreme hardship to Member)
• Deliver extraordinary customer service to Members
• Handle call backs from customers requesting status of service

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, relevant application (eg. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and telephone skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle components and common reasons for vehicle failure

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education credits preferred
• Training in customer service would be an asset
• Two (2) years experience in similar field
• Technical/Mechanical training would be an asset
