ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

Under the direction of the Senior Accountant, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for the preparation and processing of receipts, lodgements and tenants billing.

Position summary:
  1. Inputs transaction to core property management software and submits for review and posting
  2. Prepares daily lodgements for multiple bank accounts 
  3. Processes monthly rent roll and generates invoices
  4. Investigates and provides an explanation of variances on rent roll
  5. Prepares tenant/proprietor related queries
  6. Prepares receipts and records entry to the general ledger account
  7. Files remittance advice, invoices and credit notes

Position specification:
  • Associate degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting
  • Skilled at spreadsheet manipulation
  • Proficient in the use of office productivity tools
  • Good analytical and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and team skills
